Find the sum of all four digit numbers formed using the digits 1, 2, 4 and 6.

Solution

Digits are 1, 2, 4 and 6.

Sum of digits:

1 + 2 + 4 + 6 = 13

Total four digit numbers formed using all four digits:

4! = 24

Each digit appears 6 times at each place.

So, required sum:

6 × 13 × 1111 = 86658
